The Contest
For a period of fourteen (14) days following the date specified in an Instagram post from the @stridehealth account, Stride Health, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Stride”), will sponsor a contest that invites members of the public to compete for the chance to win a $200 cash prize (the “Prize”) to spend on their health-related expenses pursuant to the following terms. The announcing post will be in the form of the following text, and multiple contest may be announced through the use of comparable texts with different dates, for example:
“At some point, most of us have made a bad decision that landed us in the doctor's office or hospital. We want to hear your funniest/most ridiculous story. Tag @stridehealth #wentforit in your post. On [date], we'll pick our favorite, feature your story and give you $200 towards your health care expenses.”
Who Can Enter
This Contest is open to all members of the public who are over 18 years of age, regardless of whether they have purchased or intend to purchase health insurance through Stride. No purchase is required for entry or to claim a prize. Employees of Stride and their families are not eligible to win a Prize.
How You Enter
Entries will be recorded via Instagram when a user uploads a photo and writes a caption about that photo, if they contain the tags “@Stridehealth” and “#wentforit” in the same post, regardless of the account from which they are posted. Winners may be either individuals or administrators of the user accounts who post the entry. There is no limit on the number of entries one can submit.
How You Win
Stride will appoint a contest administrator in its marketing department in connection with each 2 week promotion. This administrator will select the top 5 entries posted during the 14 day period following the contest announcement based on the following criteria:
highest degree of creativity
highest quality image
degree of image relevance to post
strength of caption
caption relevance to overall post and prompt
overall strength of post in relation to prompt
emotional effect of post
Following the administrator’s selection of “finalist” posts, the administrator will inform the finalists of their selection and invite them to submit information about where to send payment if they’d like to be considered for the Grand Prize of $200. They may - but are not obligated to - agree to an interview and/or blog feature regarding their experience, but a user’s choice to participate in an interview, blog, or feature will not be considered in electing a Grand Prize winner. Any user’s agreement to publicity of his or her post will not be considered in the selection of a winner, nor will it affect the presentation of finalists for a company-wide vote (see below) If any finalist does not provide payment remittance information or does not respond to the finalist notification within seven (7) days of receipt, that finalist will not be eligible for a Prize in the current Contest. However, if any Contest is running at a time more than 7 days after finalist notification and the finalist does confirm payment information, the finalist may be re-entered in the then-current Contest (provided that no guarantee of being selected as a finalist in the new Contest round will be available to such users). If less than five finalists respond to the finalist notification within 7 days, the administrator may select additional finalists for that Contest round.
To select a Prize winner from among the finalists, Stride will hold a company-wide poll of all of its employees, who will cast votes for one of the five finalist posts on the basis of the criteria listed above (approximately 20 votes will be cast). The post with the most company-wide votes will be the Prize winner.
Collecting the Prize
Stride will mail a check within 30 days of the winner’s selection to the address provided at the finalist phase, and the check will be made out to the name of the user provided in response to the finalist notice.
